A clinician–client relationship begins only when Bayou City Breastfeeding and the client have entered into a service agreement and the applicable intake consents have been signed.
Who provides care
Lactation consultations at Bayou City Breastfeeding are provided by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), Certified Lactation Specialists, and Certified Lactation Counselors. Lactation professionals are not licensed by the State of Texas. Chiropractic and therapeutic-laser appointments are provided by chiropractors licensed by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Talk to your own providers
Always consult your own physician, midwife, pediatrician, or other qualified provider before:
- starting, stopping, or changing a medication;
- starting, stopping, or changing the way you feed your baby;
- starting a supplement, herbal product, or restrictive diet;
- responding to any symptom, yours or your baby’s, that concerns you.
If something on this Site contradicts advice from a provider who has examined you or your baby, follow your provider.

The Site links to third-party websites, videos, products, and services. Bayou City Breastfeeding does not control the content of those third parties and is not responsible for their accuracy, recommendations, or practices. A link or reference is not an endorsement.
