Who provides care

Lactation consultations at Bayou City Breastfeeding are provided by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), Certified Lactation Specialists, and Certified Lactation Counselors. Lactation professionals are not licensed by the State of Texas. Chiropractic and therapeutic-laser appointments are provided by chiropractors licensed by the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners.

Talk to your own providers

Always consult your own physician, midwife, pediatrician, or other qualified provider before:

starting, stopping, or changing a medication;
starting, stopping, or changing the way you feed your baby;
starting a supplement, herbal product, or restrictive diet;

If something on this Site contradicts advice from a provider who has examined you or your baby, follow your provider.
