Chiropractic & Bodywork

Pediatric, Prenatal, and Postpartum Chiropractic Care

Gentle, low-force care for babies, and for parents through pregnancy and postpartum recovery. Care begins with an evaluation.

Chiropractic visits can be booked online directly, without going through our scheduling team.

Our chiropractic team provides gentle, low-force care for infants and for parents during pregnancy and after birth. Care begins with a chiropractic evaluation. When feeding is part of the picture, we coordinate with our IBCLCs, and the two are assessed and provided within their separate scopes.

Who we care for

Care for babies, expecting parents, and the postpartum body

Infant & pediatric

Infant and pediatric chiropractic

Pediatric chiropractic care focuses on body tension, movement patterns, and comfort. For some babies, those patterns also show up during feeding, turning the head, or settling. Families often come in for a baby who turns more easily to one side than the other, which can affect how they feed on each side; tension associated with tongue tie or frenectomy recovery; fussiness or trouble settling; or asymmetric movement.

Infant visits do not look like adult chiropractic. Care is gentle and low-force, often using light sustained pressure, specific contact techniques, and hands-on bodywork, rather than the manipulation associated with adult chiropractic. The approach is matched to your baby’s age and presentation.

Prenatal

Prenatal chiropractic

Prenatal chiropractic care addresses the physical demands of pregnancy on the spine, pelvis, and surrounding tissues. Parents commonly come in for pregnancy-related back pain, pelvic discomfort, and support for comfort and mobility through pregnancy.

Postpartum

Postpartum chiropractic

Postpartum chiropractic care supports physical recovery after birth: spinal and pelvic changes, the tension patterns that come from feeding posture and caring for a newborn, and recovery after a cesarean birth.

Laser therapy (photobiomodulation)

A non-invasive, drug-free option within chiropractic care

Our chiropractic team uses therapeutic laser, also called photobiomodulation, as part of care. It is non-invasive and drug-free. We use it for musculoskeletal tension and discomfort, and for tissue and post-procedure recovery. Families also ask about it for feeding-related tension. Whether it is appropriate for your situation is decided at the evaluation.

How it works in practice: performed by our chiropractic team, requires a chiropractic evaluation first, and is a separate appointment. Available at our Houston-area locations: Houston, Jones Road, Kingwood, Katy.

See Feeding & Lactation Care or Oral Function & Tongue/Lip Tie. We coordinate between the two when it helps.

Billing

Chiropractic and laser services are self-pay

If you also see our IBCLCs, those visits are billed separately, and we verify those benefits during intake.
